My name is Rus Sullivan. I am a Medium, Ordained Clergy member and a Universal Reiki Master/Practitioner. I received my Usui Reiki Master Attunement in May of 2005 from Reiki Master Shirlie LaPlant (Miami, FL) whose lineage traces back to Mrs. Hawayo Takata. Mrs. Takata received her Reiki Mastership from Dr. Chujiro Hayashi who received his Reiki Mastership from Dr. Mikao Usui in 1925. In June of 2005 I received my Credentials of Ministry from the Universal Life Church headquartered in Modesto, California. For as long as I can remember I have always been aware of Spirit around me. As a child it was normal for me to see and hear from our loved ones that had crossed over. It wasn’t normal however for my friends and some other family members, and I soon learned and was asked to keep much of this to myself. As I got older the visits became fewer and fewer as my life’s journey had introduced me to some very wild and crazy experiences packed with many hard but important life lessons.
It wasn’t until 1999, when my career at the time picked me up and whirl-winded me to Miami, Florida, that I met my soon to be Reiki Master, Shirlie LaPlant. Meeting Shirlie, with all of her wisdom and insight with Spirit, was instrumental in reuniting me with my own spiritual path and it wasn’t long before I was seeing and hearing from Spirit once more. I was led back to Seattle in 2003 where I currently reside, in a small town north of the city, with my spouse of 24 years and our two cats, Hansel & Gretel. I continued to grow spiritually, study Reiki and other forms of energy and healing modalities as well as widen my mediumship abilities.
I am both grateful and honored to have the opportunity to hear from those who have crossed and to deliver messages from our loved ones. Messages of love, of healing, of joy and protection and the biggest message of all, is that they are still with us. They may not be with us in the physical but their essence and energy will never leave us.
One very important lesson that Spirit has taught me and is a message for all of us, is, Love yourself first, and then love one another!
